KVKK Clarification Text (Aydınlatma Metni)

Data controller

Mi World Danışmanlık A.Ş. (trading as Southern Stars), acting as data controller (veri sorumlusu) under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).

Guest identity reporting under Law No. 1774 (Kimlik Bildirim Kanunu)

As the accommodation provider hosting CONNECT guests, Southern Stars is required by Law No. 1774 (Kimlik Bildirim Kanunu) to notify guest identity data to the local security authority in accordance with the Tourism Establishment Regulation.

The legal basis for this processing is KVKK Article 5(2)(ç) — compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject. This is not a consent-based ground and, accordingly, this specific processing cannot be withdrawn by the guest.

The identity data notified to the authority is limited to what Law No. 1774 requires (full name, date of birth, national ID or passport details, dates of arrival and departure) and is not used for any other purpose.

Health-data processing

Health-related information you provide during registration (medical condition, regular medication, mobility needs, dietary requirements) is processed under KVKK Article 6 — explicit consent (açık rıza)that you give at the health-data step of the registration form. You may refuse consent by leaving these fields as “None” and still complete your booking. Health data is retained for no more than 90 days after your stay, to cover the insurance and duty-of-care liability window following the cohort.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information about the processing, request correction or deletion, and object to processing that produces a result to your detriment.
